Softball will play their first home game of the season on
Friday, which is the first day of the Patriot Classic tournament. The Patriots will play Rider and Marist in a Friday
doubleheader before playing Akron on Saturday and Cornell on Sunday.
This will be the first of three consecutive weekend tournaments
that Mason will host, giving the Patriots time to bounce back from a rough
start to the season and prepare themselves for the beginning of conference
play. Last season Mason went 2-1 in the
Patriot Classic, splitting one game apiece with Rider and beating Cornell.
Mason will start their doubleheader on Friday at 3:30pm with
the second game scheduled to begin at 6pm.
Saturday, the Patriots will play at 4:30pm with their final game of the
tournament scheduled to begin on Sunday at 3:45pm.
