George Mason, partnered with NeuLion, Inc, announces today the launch of its new mobile app, GoMason.com for the Android. The Mason app features live audio broadcasts of several of the Patriots athletic programs, including basketball and select Mason baseball, softball and lacrosse games this spring.

Fans will also have access to recent news, schedules, scores, rosters, photo galleries and live stats. GoMason.com's Patriot Vision subscribers will have access to on-demand video and live streaming audio. Fueled by GoMason.com content and powered by NeuLion's technology, the app provides a seamless, cohesive experience between the PC and mobile devices.

When will the GoMason Mobile App be available in iTunes?

Apple has changed the iOS Developer Agreement contract since GoMason Mobile App launched its initial application last year. The University has been working with Apple on the contract for a mobile app, but we have no timetable on when that will be finalized.

What are the major differences between the free and premium GoMason Mobile Apps?
The premium version includes all of the elements of the free app, as well as streaming live audio broadcasts and on-demand video.

How does the billing cycle work?
The billing is completed during the academic year, with subscriptions ending in June and going up for renewal in July. The price of the app varies, depending on when it is purchased in the calendar year.

How much does the premium app cost?
The current cost to purchase the GoMason Mobile premium app is $2.99.
