The George Mason women's tennis team hosted their last match at Montclair Country Club on Saturday. The Patriots ended their
home indoor season by defeating Morgan State by a score of 6-1.
The Patriots have now won four straight matches, and improve to 7-3 overall on the year. Mason started the match off once again with strong doubles play to secure the doubles point for an early advantage. The Patriots then only lost one match in singles play.
Redshirt sophomore Andy Londen got back into the singles line-up, notching her fourth win of the year with a 6-2, 6-1 victory out of the No. 5 spot.
Kiersten Pappas and Tori Zalewski continued their consistent play with their fifth and eight overall wins respectively. Sophomore Kate Desiatnikova also won her fifth straight match (tied for the team lead with Pappas), winning out of the No. 4 spot by a score of 6-0, 6-1.
The Patriots will travel to Mary Washington for a Sunday matinee.
