The George Mason lacrosse team continues its season-opening six-game homestand welcoming Johns Hopkins to George Mason Stadium on Saturday. The Patriots and Blue Jays will meet for the 14th time in program history as Mason will look to avenge a loss to Johns Hopkins last season.

Mason opened the 2012 campaign with a 19-9 victory over Saint Francis. Caitlin Formato led the way with five goals, while Emily Ellisen and Mary Schwartz each added four apiece. Kiersten Jauschnegg recorded three ground balls, while Brittany Pastrana and Katie Teague split time in cage.

Johns Hopkins opens the season at George Mason Stadium on Saturday. The Blue Jays return their leading scorer from last season in Colleen McCafferty after posting a 9-8 overall record and 1-4 mark in the American Lacrosse Conference.
