FAIRFAX, Va. - The George Mason wrestling team
will travel to New York City this weekend to participate in the Grapple at the
Garden, the first collegiate wrestling event to be held in Madison Square
Garden. Mason will take on Drexel, Sunday, December 16th at 10:30
a.m. in their first Colonial Athletic Association dual of the season.
Mason is
coming off a 33-4 loss to Navy and is currently 1-4 on the season. Drexel just
dropped a dual to Army, 15-22, and is 3-5 overall and 1-0 in conference
competition so far this season having defeated Hofstra 22-16.
The last
time the Patriots and Dragons squared off, Drexel took the dual 25-14 in Philadelphia.
