FAIRFAX,
Va. - The George Mason swimming and diving team will
travel to Old Dominion University to compete in the CAA POD Meet this weekend,
November 2-3.
Last Year at the CAA POD meet, which the Patriots hosted,
the men and women dropped all their duals.
In their last meet the men narrowly defeated
Delaware 157-143, while the women fell 206-92. The highlight of the meet was
the men's win in the 400 Freestyle relay which secured the meet win for Mason.
Fernando Rubio and John Schmitz had an impressive meet, which earned them CAA
Swimmer and Diver of the week for the week of Nov.15th,
respectively.
