VA. - This week's rookie profile features Luke Ludke, a
native of Kenosha, Wis. where he attended Clayton High. During his time at
Clayton, Ludke was a member of the wrestling team for four years. He was a
three-time all-conference recipient, three-time region champion, two-time feud
of the forest MVP, WRAL MVP and was also the Takedown Report Top Wrestler at
132 lbs.

Why
did you choose George Mason University?
Ludke:
I
chose Mason because I liked the campus, wrestling team and coaches.

How
did you get into wrestling?
Ludke:
A wrestling coach came to my old school with a flyer for his club wrestling
team and I decided to try it out.

What
is your favorite and least favorite thing about living on campus?
Ludke:
My favorite thing about living on campus is all the other people that also live
on campus and my least favorite thing is having to share a bathroom.

What
do you think will be the biggest challenge in transitioning to collegiate
wrestling?
Ludke:
I think the main challenge will be adjusting to the competition because it is
going to be tougher.

is your favorite thing about Mason, so far?
Ludke:
Southside.

has been the biggest difference, so far, between high school and college?
Ludke:
Keeping track of all my work.

stranded on a deserted island, what three things would you take with you?
Ludke: I would take
with me a 24 pack of water, a raft and a phone to call someone.

biggest pet peeve?
Ludke: When I fall
asleep without brushing my teeth.

to do after college?
Ludke: I would like to
be a forensic scientist.

visit any place in the world, where would you go?
Ludke: I would go to Italy.

something that most people don't know about you?
Ludke: I'm a personal
trainer.
