FAIRFAX,
Va. - The George Mason softball team will host their
annual alumni game this Friday, October 5th at 7:00 p.m. The game
will be held at the George Mason Softball complex.
Mason will welcome back alumni dating back to the 1996
team. Alumni that will be in attendance will include Becky Anderson ('10),
Jamie Argento ('96), Rachael Davies ('12), Kristin Dickle ('08), Lesley Hassen
('08), Shannon Hilter Marchand ('99), Sarah Martin ('09), Paige Miller ('10), Melanie
Monahan ('00), Danielle Murray ('08), Katie Rynex ('12), Corey Stokes ('02),
and Kara Weiner ('11).
"The team and I are very excited about this upcoming
alumni weekend, it should be really fun and it will be great to see our alumni,"
expressed head coach Joe Verbanic.
On Saturday October 6th , alumni, family
and friends are encouraged to come out and watch Mason take on Georgetown at
home in a double header beginning at 11 a.m. Immediately following the second
game there will be a cookout for the team, alumni, friends and families.
