WASHINGTON, D.C.- Sophomore Jake Kettler of the George Mason wrestling team has been invited to participate in the 47th annual NWCA All-Star Classic on November 3rd. The event will be held at American University.
Kettler transferred to Mason this year after taking an Olympic redshirt last season. Kettler was a 2012 Olympic Team Trials qualifier in the Greco-Roman at 120 kilos and took 6th at the US Open in 2012. Before his Olympic redshirt Kettler wrestled at the University of Minnesota where he posted a 17-4 record.
At the NWCA All-Star Classic, Kettler will face-off against Matt Meuleners of Northern State University. Meuleners is a 3-time All-American and a 2-time defending national champion.
