RICHMOND, Va. (Jan. 31, 2012) - Standout diver Derrick Butts has been named CAA Men's Diver of the Week.
Butts continued his tear on the
diving board, claiming diving honors for the eighth time this season. The
senior helped George Mason defeat George Washington, 162-127, by posting a
score of 374.62 on the 1-meter and 409.12 on the 3-meter. Both scores were
season-highs in the CAA this year. The senior
has now tallied an impressive 15 total wins so far this year.
Butts will compete again next when
Mason hosts CAA Championships on Wednesday, February 22nd - Saturday, February
25th.
