Notes:
The
Patriots are 13-9-1 at home this year while Towson is 6-11 on the road. The
Patriots need two more wins at Spuhler Field (with seven home games remaining)
to reach the 15-win mark for the 20th
time in the field's 24-year
history. Brig Tison
needs a hit on Friday and a hit on Saturday to tie the
school record for consecutive games with a hit. Tison has hit in 23-straight
heading into the weekend and Eddie Jordan set the school record in 2000 with
25-straight. Tison leads the nation in hits with 76. Chris Cook
need to be hit
by a pitch over the season's final 10 games to break the school record for
single-season HBP. He has been hit 22 times, tying Evan Howard's record set in
2002. He is second in the nation in HBP.
