Ashley Danner
completed her time at the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships after the
200-yard breaststroke today. She
competed in this event along with the 100-yard breaststroke and the 200-yard
IM.
Danner
competed in the 200-yard breaststroke on Saturday finishing in seventh place
out of 50 total swimmers that finished.
She swam the event in a time of 2:08.52 with Spencer Haley of Minnesota
winning the event with a time of 2:06.12.
Danner was also qualified in the 100-yard breaststroke and put up an
impressive performance in that event Friday. She finished in third place
with a time of 59.23 behind Jillian Tyler of Minnesota who won the event with a
time of 58.39. 48 total swimmers placed in this event.
On Thursday, Danner also recorded a twelfth place finish in the 200-yard IM
where she finished the event in a time of 1:57.51. There were 55 total
swimmers to place in that event.
