Ashley Danner
qualified for the NCAA Championships with her performances throughout the year
and is competing in Austin, Texas. After
day two see has finished third in the 100-yard breaststroke and twelfth in the 200-yard IM.
Danner
was qualified in the 100-yard breaststroke and put up an impressive performance
in that event Friday. She finished in
third place with a time of 59.23 behind Jillian Tyler of Minnesota who won the
event with a time of 58.39. 48 total
swimmers placed in this event.
On
Thursday, Danner also recorded a twelfth place finish in the 200-yard
IM where she finished the event in a time of 1:57.51. There were 55 total swimmers to place in that
event.
Danner
will continue to compete Saturday when she swims in the 200-yard
breaststroke.
