The
George Mason men's tennis was defeated 5-2 by Southern Illinois at the
Springfest Tournament in Hilton Head, SC. Mason is 1-1 with one match remaining
in the spring break tournament.
Mason's
two points came in the #2 and #5 singles matches. Sophomore Kevin McMillen
defeated Falk Debeenhower, 6-2, 6-2 and Chris Borden won his match in three
sets, 6-1, 1-6, 7-6(6-4). The Salukis won all three doubles matches for the
doubles point.
The
Patriots will play South Carolina State on Thursday, March 17.
