Fairfax, Va. – Mason wrestling received a 34-7 home loss tonight against conference foe Binghamton. With the loss Mason falls to 0-18 on the year while Binghamton improved to 12-5 overall and 4-0 in the CAA. The Patriots posted two individual victories but the Bearcats recorded four major decisions and also a fall. Mason was forced to forfeit the 125 pound weight class.
John Delgado recorded his second consecutive victory with a 10-2 major decision over Dan Riggi. In his first match in over a month, Mendbagna Tovuujav posted a 9-4 decision against Matt Berretta.
Mason will wrestle again next Thursday, February 10 when they travel for a match up with Liberty. That match is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m.
