The Patriots men's tennis
team defeated St.
Francis (NY) 6-1 on Saturday, splitting the weekend's matches played at The
Lewis Tennis Center at Lehigh University. Mason improves to 3-5 on the season.
The Green and Gold won the #2 and #3 doubles matches
to garner the first point of the match. The Patriots went on to win the first
five singles matches, losing only at #6 singles. Freshmen Jordan Borsanyi and
Chris Borden each won their match to improve to 4-2 and 4-1 respectively this
season.
The team next travels to Hilton Head, S.C. for three
matches during Spring Break. The Patriots will face Tennessee State (3/13),
Southern Illinois (3/15) and South Carolina State (3/17).
