The Patriots men's tennis team lost to Mary Washington 6-1, but the score is more lopsided than the match would indicate. Three singles matches went the distance and the doubles point was decided in the #3 doubles.
Sophmore Kevin McMillen earned the Patriots lone point at the #1 singles position winnning 7-5, 6-3. McMillen usually is slated at the #2 singles behind Jorge Osuna who did not play.
After winning the first set, freshman Jordan Borsanyi lost in three sets to Blakhin. Freshman Chris Borden also won his first set 5-7 before dropping the last two sets, 7-5, 6-4. Sophomore Patrick Mulquin also won his first set 6-1 before losing the next two.
