The Patriot men finished their CAA Championship race in second place this afternoon, while the women ended the day in seventh.

The men finished behind William & Mary, who took home their 12^th consecutive CAA Championship. Despite the second place finish, Mason, who came into the weekend ranked 12^th in the region, had three runners finish the race with All-CAA honors.  Junior Alex Zyryanov, who finished seventh overall with a time of 25:29, sophomore Michael Conway, who finished ninth with a time of 25:30 and junior Philip Blankenship who finished 12^th with a time of 25:39 were all rewarded with All-CAA status.

The women were led today by freshman Peyton Lowe who finished 22^nd overall with a time of 23:27.  Junior Rochelle Sceats, who had led the team for much of the beginning of the year, was out this afternoon due to injury.

Mason will compete again on November 4^th in the Cavalier Open in at Panorama Farms in Charlottesville, Va.
