Freshmen Vincent Rodriguez and Ryan Hembury have been named,
along with eight others, to the CAA All-Freshman Team for the 2011-2012
season. Rodriguez, who will wrestle at
125 pounds this year, is from Clovis High School
in Fresno, California. He was twice the
State Runner-up, and he won the NHSCA National Championship in 2010 and 2011. Hembury, who will wrestle at 184 pounds this
season, hails from Muncy, Pennsylvania and was a Pennsylvania (AA) State
Champion at 189 pounds at Muncy High.
Along with the Mason's two selections, the 2011-12 CAA Preseason All-Freshman team consisted off four members of the
Binghamton University team, two from Old Dominion University, one from Hofstra University and one from Drexel University.
The CAA has also released
their 2011-2012 wrestling preseason team rankings, in which Mason is projected
