Five George Mason track & field athletes were named to the 2010 Division I All-Academic Track & Field Team this week as LaVell Handy, Sam Horn, Rochelle Sceats, Laura Sinclair and Nicholas Vaughn were honored by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.

"Obviously, we are thrilled as a staff to have five athletes that have been able to be so successful both in the classroom and on the track," said Andrew Gerard, Director of Track and Field at George Mason. "While we applaud all their hard work and contributions, we also commend them for being role models as true student-athletes!"
