The Patriots women's rowing team had three boats entered in this past weekends Murphy Cup in Philadelphia. Mason's varsity eight, second varsity eight and a varsity four raced on the Schuylkill River and none of the boats made it to the final race.

Varsity eight finished third in their heat with a time of 6:53.05. The second varsity eight finished fourth in their heat with a time of 6:57.33. The Patriots final boat, the varsity four, finished in fourth in their heat behind Bucknell, George Washington and Navy.

George Mason will next be in action when they travel to Camden, New Jersey this weekend to race in the Knecht Cup.
