FAIRFAX, Va. - After playing three consecutive road games, the George Mason women's lacrosse team returns home for the first time since March 28 to host a pair of Colonial Athletic Association opponents this weekend at George Mason Stadium. On Friday, the Patriots play No. 16 Hofstra and on Sunday, Mason takes on Drexel in an Under Armour Power in Pink Game to raise awareness for breast cancer. The opening draw is slated for 4 p.m. on Friday and 1 p.m. on Sunday.

George Mason will wear special uniforms designed by Under Armour in Sunday's game to support the company's Power in Pink initiative, which is designed to pay tribute to women everywhere who are fighting breast cancer. By raising awareness and contributing a percentage of Power in Pink jersey sales to national breast cancer charities, Under Armour and Mason Lacrosse hope to bring us all closer to an end to the disease. In the past, Under Armour has donated money from sales of its Power in Pink products to the American Breast Cancer Foundation, the Arnold S. Leonard Cancer Research Fund, Casting for Recovery, The Hoffberger Breast Center at Mercy and The Red Devils.

The first 150 fans through the gate on Sunday will receive a pink George Mason hat. All fans are encouraged to wear pink to the game to support breast cancer awareness. In addition to the Power in Pink festivities, Sunday's game is also Women's Lacrosse Alumnae Day. All returning women's lacrosse alumnae will be recognized at halftime of the game.

On Friday, the Patriots will play their third consecutive nationally-ranked opponent in Hofstra. Friday's contest will be Faculty/Staff Appreciation Day at George Mason Stadium. George Mason employees will receive two free tickets to the game by showing their Mason ID at the main entrance to the stadium. Friday is also Mason Spirit Day. Fans that wear George Mason gear to the game will be admitted for $2. Fans will get the chance to win Mason Under Armour gear as lucky number giveaways will take place throughout the game.

The Patriots enter this weekend with a 3-9 overall record and 0-2 record against CAA opponents. Hofstra is currently 8-3 overall and 2-0 in conference games. Drexel enters the weekend with a 9-3 overall record and 1-1 record against conference opponents. The Dragons play at James Madison on Friday in Harrisonburg, Va.

Regularly-priced individual tickets to women's lacrosse games cost $5 for adults and $2 for youth, senior citizens and George Mason University faculty and staff. All full-time enrolled students at George Mason University will be admitted free with a valid Mason student ID. Tickets will be available for purchase at the entrance to George Mason Stadium one hour prior to the start of the game.
