The George Mason baseball team will take to the road on Tuesday to face Radford in a game that will be played at Salem Memorial ballpark, the home of the Salem Red Sox. The Patriots and Highlanders will play at 2 p.m.
Mason last took the field on Tuesday when the Patriots fell at Richmond, 6-4. The Patriots had a three-game series with Fordham canceled over the weekend due to poor field conditions as a result of the snowstorms that hit the area in February.
The Patriots are 4-4 on the season but have lost three of their past four. Two of those losses came in extra innings. The Highlanders are 3-6 on the year having taken three of four from Elon over the weekend. Radford is hitting .249 on the season with a 6.87 ERA. The Patriots are hitting .334 with a 4.41 ERA.
Mason is 4-1 all-time against Radford.
