The Patriots men's tennis team improved to 5-6 on the season as they edged Loyola in Baltimore on the Butler Courts. Mason started off dropping the doubles point but rallied in singles to win 4-3 over the Greyhounds.
Top singles player Jorge Osuna defeated Sanai in two sets 6-4, 6-4. Sam Coster won his match at No. 6 singles in two sets as well. Three matches went three sets with Mason claiming two points. Patrick Mulquin won the third set against Zingler in the No. 3 singles spot, defeating him 6-1, 3-6, 6-2. Greg Donabedian defeated Loyola's McDaniel, 2-6, 6-3, 6-2.
The Patriots have two straight home matches, Thursday March 18 against Richmond at 3 pm and Saturday against CAA foe Delaware at 1 pm.
