The Patriots men's tennis team finished their five-game spring break trip with a loss at Barton, 6-3. Mason recorded a 2-3 record on the trip to stand at 4-6 on the season. The Green and Gold newcomers gained experience and found some success in this early season stretch.
In singles action two matches were determined in a tiebreaker set as the Patriots Patrick Mulquin defeated Leondro Peron at No. 3 singles to finish with a 4-1 singles record during the five-match stretch. The Patriots lost the other tiebreaker set as Diego Salinas defeated Mason's Greg Donabedian. Newcomer Kevin McMillen won his No. 2 singles match to improve to 4-1 on the trip playing from the top two positions. Sam Coster lost his singles match at No. 6 but finished the trip with a 3-1 record.
The Patriots travel to Loyola(MD) for their next match on March 17th.
