FAIRFAX, Va. - The George Mason wrestling team will host the American Eagles in a nonconference dual meet on Sunday at 12:30 p.m. at the RAC. Sunday's meet schedule originally included additional matches at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. but those matches were cancelled because UNC Greensboro was unable to make the trip to Fairfax due to poor travel conditions caused by the snowstorm that is making its way up the East Coast.

Mason enters Sunday's dual with a 3-8 overall record and a four-match losing streak. The Patriots were originally scheduled to face No. 24 Virginia in Charlottesville, Va. on Saturday afternoon, but that meet was postponed due to the snowstorm.

Leading the way for the Patriots is sophomore 174-pounder Mendbagana Tovuujav, who leads the team in wins (25) and falls (7). Tovuujav is ranked 18th by Amateur Wrestling News, 20th by InterMat and Wrestling Insider Newsmagazine, and 22nd by WrestlingReport.com.

American, with a 7-6 overall record this season, enters the dual with four ranked wrestlers. Jasen Borshoff is ranked 16th by InterMat at 125 pounds, Kyle Borshoff is ranked 11th by InterMat at 149 pounds, Steve Fittery is ranked fourth by InterMat at 157 pounds, and Mike Cannon is ranked fourth by InterMat at 184 pounds.

Admission to Sunday's dual meet is free. The RAC Gym will open one hour prior to the start of the meet.
