FAIRFAX, Va. - The George Mason Intercollegiate Athletics Department announced today that Saturday's women's lacrosse game against UMBC has been postponed due to unplayable field conditions at George Mason Stadium as a result of the snowstorm that hit the Northern Virginia area earlier in the week. The game has been rescheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 16 at 5 p.m.

The exact location of the game is to be determined. The options are RAC Field, located adjacent to the Recreation and Athletic Complex, and Intramural Field No. 3, a turf field located next to the George Mason Softball Stadium.

Tuesday's game will be the season opener for Mason's women's lacrosse team. UMBC opened its season with an 18-2 victory at Jacksonville on Feb. 6.
