George Mason resumes its 2009-10 wrestling season when it takes on the Bucknell Bison on Friday at 7 p.m. at the RAC. The Patriots previous three dual meets were postponed due to inclement weather.
Mason last wrestled on Jan. 29 against Maryland and enters Friday's dual attempting to snap a streak of four consecutive losses. Bucknell, winners of five of their past six dual meets, enters Friday's action with a 10-6 overall record this year.
Leading the way for the Patriots is sophomore 174-pounder Mendbagana Tovuujav, who leads the team in wins (25) and falls (7). Tovuujav is ranked 19th by InterMat and WrestlingReport.com, and 20th by Amateur Wrestling News and Wrestling Insider Newsmagazine.
Tickets to Friday's dual meet cost $5 for adults and $2 for youth, senior citizens and George Mason University faculty and staff. All full-time enrolled students at George Mason University will be admitted free with a valid Mason student ID. Tickets will be available for purchase at the entrance to the RAC Gym one hour prior to the start of the meet.
