The George Mason women's swimming and diving team recorded a clean sweep in defeating American, Army and Old Dominion on Saturday afternoon in a quad meet at the Jim McKay Natatorium, while the men also beat American. Full team scores are listed below.

Mason's women scored 10 event wins on the day, highlighted by a triple-victory afternoon by sophomore Ashley Danner while classmate Kristen Meier continued to dominate off the diving board. Danner was a winner in the 50-yard freestyle (24.05), 100-yard breaststroke (1:03.73) and the 200-yard breaststroke (2:18.94). Meanwhile Meier, the reigning CAA Diver of the Week, won the 1-meter and 3-meter dives with scores of 278.15 and 306.00, respectively.

Three other individuals were victorious for the Patriot women: Jenny Kane in the 200-yard freestyle (1:53.77), Claire Weems in the 100-yard freestyle (53.79), and Caitlin Impink in the 400-yard individual medley (4:32.06). The women's 200-yard medley relay (1:46.12) and 400-yard freestyle relay (3:35.43) also captured first-place finishes.

On the men's side, sophomore Preston Wolter was a triple-event winner while Meier's counterpart, CAA Diver of the Week Bryan Bahr swept the diving events. Wolter won the 200-yard butterfly (1:52.93), 400-yard individual medley (4:06.11) and the 1,650-yard freestyle (16:12.87). Bahr picked up wins with scores of 342.60 in the 1-meter and 316.30 in the 3-meter.

Finally, Eric Knight won the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 46.81 and the men's 400-yard freestyle relay was first with a time of 3:07.80.

The Patriots will finish up the regular season with a home meet next Sunday against George Washington at 12 p.m.
