The George Mason women's tennis team began the spring season with two losses at the at the hands of #43VCU and Campbell University at the VCU 4+1 Tournament. The Patriots were blanked 5-0 in both matches giving the Patriots their first two losses of the 09-10 season after winning five straight matches in the fall.
The best match-up of the day was at No. 3 singles as Campbell's Borislava Nikolova needed a tie-breaker set to win the point from Mason's freshman Allison Wingo, 6-3, 5-7, 10-6.
Next match for the Patriots is February 6th against James Madison.
