The Patriots fared well in day two of play as they finished up the Mason Fall Tournament in decorous fashion. With such a young squad, Coach Quam's team is looking very promising for a successful season.
Mason Highlights included newcomer Kevin McMillen going 3-0 to win the Flight Two singles and junior Arjun Sanghvi finishing 3-0 to win the Flight Seven singles. Sophomore Jorge Osuna fought hard to a 2-1 record to earn himself a second place in Flight One singles. Veteran senior Imran Nayeem went 2-1 to earn second place in Flight Eight singles as well.
In doubles play sophomore Greg Donabedian and freshman Patrick Mulquin went 2-1 to take second place in Flight Two, while senior Imran Nayeem and junior Arjun Sanghvi went 2-0 to win Flight Four doubles.
The Patriots will be back in action next weekend as they will compete at Fredericksburg, VA in the Mary Washington Kick-Off Tournament.
