The George Mason men's tennis edged Morgan State, 4-3 at the Mason Tennis courts on Tuesday.

The Bears (5-7) earned the doubles point, by winning two of the three doubles matches. The Patriots won the first doubles match at No. 1 to begin the match. Mason's team of Brian Fitzgerald and Dan Schneder defeated the Bears team of Dmitry Chekhlaty and Kevon Charles, 8-4.

Mason won the first two singles matches, to go up 2-1. Fitzgerald won 6-4, 6-2 and freshman Jorge Osuna won his match at No. 2 singles in three sets. The Patriots then would take two of the final three singles matches to earn the 4-3 victory. Jordan Lipstock won his singles match at No. 4 and Arjun Sanghvi won his at No. 6 for Mason. Matt Vaughn lost a competitive match at No. 5 singles, losing in the tiebreaker set.
