The Mason women's tennis team battled both the weather and the Bears as they defeated Morgan St. in frigid temperatures Tuesday. Mason won 7-0 without dropping a set. The Patriots improve to 8-10.
"This was a good win that can prepare us for the conference championships," Coach Steve Curtis commented.
The match was the fifth time this season the Patriots blanked its opponent, 7-0. Mason returns to action on Friday when it travels to the University of Delaware and then hosts George Washington on Saturday.
