Today's baseball game between George Mason and Maryland has been moved up to a 5 p.m. start time in anticipation of the possibility of inclement weather. The game was previously scheduled for a 7 p.m. first pitch at Shipley Field in College Park, Md.
The 27th-ranked team in the nation in the current Collegiate Baseball Newspaper poll, the Patriots downed George Washington by a final score of 11-2 on Tuesday afternoon at Spuhler Field.
The Patriots enter Wednesday's action with a 31-7 overall record. The Terrapins are 19-21 this season. Wednesday's contest will be the second meeting of the season between the Patriots and the Terrapins. Mason rallied for three runs in the bottom of the eighth inning to defeat Maryland 6-5 on March 24 at Spuhler Field
