The Mason women's tennis team lost to CAA foe Delaware 0-7 on Friday in Newark. Mason falls to 8-11 on the season.

In double action, the Patriots top team of Lindsay Gray and Brooke Blackwell lost a close match, 8-6. Gray lost 6-4, 6-1 in top singles match. At No. 5 singles, Mason's Meredith Cutchin battled to a 6-4, 6-1 loss as well.

Mason's match against George Washington originally scheduled for Saturday has been canceled. The netters prepare for CAA Championships next week.
