2009 NCAA Women's Swimming & Diving Championships Psych Sheet

INDIANAPOLIS - George Mason freshman Ashley Danner will take to the water with the nation's best later this month, as Danner will compete in three events at the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships from March 19 to 21 at College Station, Texas.

Danner made two Automatic Qualifying times at last week's CAA Championships which gave her an automatic berth in the national championships, being hosted by Texas A&M University.

Her CAA title-winning time of 59.78 in the 100-yard breaststroke seeds her in a tie for seventh among the field in that event.

In the 200-yard breaststroke, Danner is 15th among the field with a time of 2:10.06. Finally, the Springfield, Va., native was among the group of swimmers invited to participate in the 200-yard individual medley, as her B-cut time of 1:59.99 ranks 48th in the field.

Danner, who was the CAA champion in all three events, was recognized for her performance by being named the Most Outstanding Women's Swimmer of the Meet.
