George Mason junior first baseman Justin Bour was named CAA Co-Player of the Week on Monday afternoon after helping Mason to a 3-1 record last week including a pair of CAA wins and a victory over an ACC squad. Bour hit .471 (8 of 17) with two homers, five runs and 11 RBI. In the three-game series at William & Mary, he went 7 of 13 (.538) with two homers, four runs scored and nine RBI. On the season, Bour, who was named a Louisville Slugger Third-Team Preseason All-American, is hitting .326 with eight homers and 24 RBI. Bour shares the weekly honor with Towson's Jason Stifer.

Bour and the Patriots return to action on Tuesday when they host Mount St. Mary's at 3 p.m. at Spuhler Field. The Patriots have won 15-straight home games dating back to last season and that is tied for the longest active home winning streak in the nation. Mason is 19-5 on the year.

Mount St. Mary's is 8-9 and the Mountaineers will send Brett Moore to the mound. He is 2-1 in four starts with a 5.23 ERA. In 20 and two-third innings, he's allowed 26 hits and nine walks with six strikeouts. He is one of several Mountaineers who will take the mound on Tuesday. Mason will send either Kevin Lingerman or Kris Mengle to the mound. Lingerman is 0-0 on the year with a 1.93 ERA. He has pitched in five games with three starts. Mengle is 0-0 with a 7.15 ERA in two starts and five appearances. He has struck out 11 in 11 and one-third innings.

The Patriots are looking to reach 20 wins faster than any other club in school history. In 1993, Mason reached 20 wins in 27 games. The Patriots have won 15 of their past 17 games after a 4-3 start.
