LAWRENCEVILLE, N.J. - Sophomore Frankie McLaughlin IV was named the CAA Co-Wrestler of the Week for his performance in three dual matches during the final week of the 2008-09 dual season. McLaughlin improved his record to 23-9 overall with the three victories.

McLaughlin started the week with a 10-4 decision over Julian Colon of Liberty before earning a CAA dual match win with an 8-2 decision over Drexel's Billy Haydt in Mason's 18-17 victory. In his final match of the week, McLaughlin won a close 6-5 decision against Kyle John of the University of Maryland.

McLaughlin split the weekly award with Doug Umbehauer of Rider University. The CAA Rookie of the Week was Frank Cimato of Drexel University.

With the 2008-09 dual schedule complete, the Patriots look toward the 2008-09 CAA Wrestling Championships, hosted by Old Dominion University. The two-day championship tournament is scheduled to begin on March 6 and wrap up the next day.
