The Patriots men's tennis team picked up their first win of the spring season with a convincing 7-0 drubbing of Shepherd College at Burke Racket Club. Mason didn't lose a set en route to notching the first win and improving to 1-4.

In singles play, Arjun Sanghvi and Imran Nayeem didn't lose a single game in the Patriots No. 5 and No. 6 singles matches to post 6-0, 6-0 wins. Identical 6-1, 6-0 scores were turned in by the No. 2 and No. 3 Mason singles matches as Jorge Osuna and Dan Schneider easily defeated their Ram opponents.

The doubles contests were a little closer, but Mason took all three for the point. The No. 1 team of Brian Fitzgerald and Dan Schneider defeated the Rams Bosco/Sisson, 8-5. Mason's Lipstock and Osuna won at No. 2 doubles and Matt Vaughn and Nayeem posted an 8-6 win at No. 3.

The Patriots return to the court March 4th for a CAA match at James Madison.
