WASHINGTON, D.C. - The George Mason swimming and diving team kicked off its 2009-10 campaign at the Potomac Relay Invitational on Friday afternoon, hosted by American University.
Mason's men's squad took home first place with 346 points, while the women were third with 282 points. Towson claimed the women's title with 360 points.
The Patriots are back in action next Saturday, traveling to a tri-meet at Navy against the host Midshipmen and Loyola (Md.) at 11 a.m. in Annapolis.
