The men's and women's tennis teams finished up their spring break tours of North Carolina with identical 7-0 losses to UNC Wilmington. The women finish 2-1 and the men 0-3 in three matches during the week.
The men's match opened with three straight 8-3 defeats of the Patriots doubles teams. The women's first and second doubles team lost 8-2 while the third team was on the wrong end of an 8-1 decision.
The Seahawks are in the top echelon of CAA tennis and the Patriots were no match. The closest singles match was at the #2 singles as Stacey Berlinger lost her match 7-5, 6-1. All other matches were easily decided in two sets.
The Patriots have 10 days off until they face CAA foe Delaware at home on March 25th.
