CLEARWATER, Fla. - The George Mason softball team was trailing Georgia Southern in the third inning, but heavy rains in the Clearwater area forced the postponement of the USF Under Armour Showcase on Friday.

Mason will meet up with the Eagles on Saturday at noon, then square off against Ball State immediately following. On Sunday, the Patriots will face Long Island at 11:30 a.m., then close out play in Florida against Sam Houston State at 2 p.m.
