The Netters traveled to Annapolis as they fell to Navy 7-0. The Patriots move to 1-2 on the season.

In Singles competition Brian Fitzgerald led the team in at the No. 1 singles and battled Navy's No.1 singles. After losing the first set 6-4, he came back and one the next set to 1-6, before falling 1-0 in the third set. Dan Schneider also put in a solid performance before losing to Navy's No. 2 singles 6-4, 6-3.

In Doubles competition it was much of the same as all of Mason's doubles fell to Navy's doubles. Brian Fitzgerald and Dan Schneider clawed at Navy's pair at the No. 1 doubles, but couldn't quite get a grip on them and fell 8-5.

The Netters are off to the second game of this weekend's road trip to face off against Mary Washington at Fredericksburg, Va. at 6:00 pm.
