George Mason baseball head coach Bill Brown has announced the beginning of a pair of new camps to be held in the coming weeks.

The first camp, open to ages 8-18, is specifically geared toward hitting and the mechanics of swing. The purpose of the camp is to provide the serious baseball player with professional and intense skill instruction while challenging his ultimate playing potential.

The camp will be held at the George Mason University Field House which is located at the intersection of Rt. 123 and University Drive. The camp, which is $125 per camper, will meet on Jan. 27, Feb. 3, Feb, 10 and Feb. 17 and run from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m.

The second camp is the Parent-Son Perfect Pitching Camp geared toward kids ages 7-14 and a parent. The specialty camp will provice campers and parents drills to reinforce the proper pitching motion and mechanics. This will be an interactive camp with parents being involved along with former and current George Mason players.

The parent-son camp will be held Feb. 17 from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. and the cost is $50.
