Farmingdale, NY - The George Mason University golf team traveled to Farmingdale, New York this past weekend where St. John's University hosted The McLaughlin tournament. The tournament was played on the Bethpage Red Golf Course, a par 70, 6695 yard course.
Mason finished 15th out of 18 teams. Tyler Frank finished T-14th for the Patriots scoring 70-73-70 (+3) for the tournament. J.J. Amoruso finished T-47th, as he finshed with a three-day score of 221 (+11). The University of West Florida finished first, followed by host St. John's with team scores of 830 (-10) and 832 (-8), respectively.
Mason will be in action this weekend as the team travels to Las Vegas to compete in the Shootout at Angel Park.
