Southern Scuffle Day One Brackets in PDF Format 
GREENSBORO, N.C. -
After a full day of action at the Southern Scuffle in Greensboro, N.C. on Saturday, the George Mason wrestling team wrapped up the day with 13.5 team points to head into tomorrow's final day in 21st place in the team standings.
The Patriots have five wrestlers remaining in the consolation brackets as the tournament prepares for Sunday's second and final day of action. Sophomore Brian Wright (125 pounds), redshirt junior Will Powars (141 pounds), freshman Zach Ulm (174 pounds), sophomore Bill Widener (184 pounds) and freshman Cayle Byers (197 pounds) will all see action tomorrow at their respective weight classes.
When the tournament resumes, Wright will take on North Carolina State's Taylor Cummings, Powars will face VMI's David Metzler, Ulm will wrestle Gardner-Webb's Chad Davis, Widener will take on Edinboro's Chris Honeycutt and Byers will face North Carolina State's Mark Jahad. All will hit the mat in hopes of capturing third place in their respective weight classes.
The second day of action continues tomorrow with the championship quarterfinals and the fourth round of the consolation brackets slated to begin at 9 a.m. The championship finals will begin at 5 p.m.
