The Patriot women's tennis team lost 6-1 to CAA opponent Delaware today at the Mason Tennis Courts. Mason drops to 10-9 overall, 1-4 in the conference.

Mason's lone point came from the No. 2 singles position as Maricel Ballester defeated Amanda Campbell, 6-2, 6-4. Jen Dektas battled to a tiebreaker in the first set of her match, but lost 7-6(5), 6-0. In doubles action, Mason's No. 2 duo of Dektas and Julie Moscato defeated the Blue Hens team of Alexa Dragonette and Brittany Barsky, 8-4, but Mason lost the other two doubles matches and lost the point.

Mason travels to Towson on Monday afternoon for another CAA match.
