RICHMOND, Va. - Freshman Murielle Ahoure was named the Most Outstanding Track Performer for her performance at the Colonial Athletic Association Outdoor Track and Field Championships this weekend, held at Sports Backers Stadium in Richmond, Va. Ahoure won the CAA title in two events, the 100-meter dash and the 200-meter dash, and was a member of George Mason's 4x100-meter relay team that won the conference championship.
The Lorton, Va. native finished in 11.98 seconds in the 100-meter dash, and crossed the finish line in 23.92 seconds in the 200-meter dash, beating Northeastern's Jordine Kimbrel in both events.
