Longwood University defeated the Mason women's tennis team 6-0 today at George Mason Tennis Courts. The Patriots fall to 12-11 with the loss.

The first three singles matches went the distance with No. 1 singles player Andreea Fusea losing the third set 6-3 after she blanked her opponent 6-0 in the second. Maricel Ballester won the second set, but lost the third 6-0. Senior Jen Dektas playing at No. 3 singles lost a tough first set 7-6(4), won the second 6-3, but lost in the tie-breaker set 6-2.

Mason will play its last regular season match tomorrow against Robert Morris.
