LAWRENCEVILLE, N.J. - Redshirt freshman Tyler Tisdell was named the CAA Co-Rookie of the Week for his performance at the CAA Wrestling Championships in Philadelphia, Pa. on March 3-4. Tisdell, a three-time CAA Rookie of the Week Award winner, shares the honor with Rider's Doug Umbehauer.

Tisdell, a redshirt freshman from Sewell, N.J., placed runner-up at the CAA Championships at the 165-pound weight class and will now compete in the NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships, scheduled for March 16-18 at the Ford Center in Oklahoma City, Okla. At the CAA Championships, Tisdell won a major decision in the quarterfinals, and upset the No. 2 seed in the semifinals, before losing to the top seed in the finals by a score of 3-2.

Tisdell heads into the NCAA Championships with a 28-8 record on the season, with three falls, one technical fall and nine major decisions.

The CAA Wrestler of the Week Award went to senior Jon Masa of conference champion Hofstra.
